Blistered Shishito Peppers with Passionfruit Garlic Aioli
Ingredients
- 8 oz shishito peppers
- 1 Tbsp light olive oil or sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt, or to taste
- 1 tsp lemon zest, (optional)
Passionfruit Garlic Aioli Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 garlic clove, pressed or 1 teas roasted garlic
- 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp salt or added to taste
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1 Tbl Chin Dribblin Passionfruit Sweet Chili Sauce
Instructions:
1. Turn oven on broil
2. Place washed and dried shishito peppers in a bowl and toss with oil, salt, and lemon zest.
3. Place tossed peppers on a baking sheet and place into oven
4. While shishitos are blistering (about 10 minutes or until they have a nice char to them), make the sauce by adding all of the ingredients listed to a small bowl and mixing together.
5. Serve with aioli and enjoy!
